For our audience research we decided to ask indivduals a set of question on our short film, film poster and film review. These are the questions we asked:

2. What do you think was a weakness of the short film?

3. Do you think the films narrative was easy to follow?

4. Who do you think was the target audience for the film?

5. Do you think the film followed the conventions of a drama short film?

6. Would you recommend the film to others?

7. Rate the film out of 10.

 

Film Poster

1. Do you feel that the poster relates well to the film?

2. Would you say that the poster looks amateurish or professional?

3. What do think is a strength within the poster?

4. What do you think is a weakness within the poster?

5. Do you think there is enough information about the film in the poster?

6. Do you think the poster is a good form of marketing?

7. Do you think the poster features codes and conventions of the drama genre?

8. Rate the poster out of 10.

 

Film Review

1. What do you think is a strength of the film review?

2. What would say was a weakness of the film review?

3. Do you think the layout of the film review looks like a conventional one?

By creating these questionnaire questions, it gives us an plan when we conduct our audience feedback on our productions. The questions give us the chance to gain an understanding on how effective are productions are.
