Risk Assessment
All locations were scouted and assessed before any filming took place, furthermore permission was asked to film in any houses or residences of private land/property.

Litter can pose a risk while filming as it can ruin the appearance of a film. In order to avoid this crew members should be vary of where they choose to film. Crew members should also avoid littering when filming.

Having unnecessary sound in a production can ruin the professionalism of the film. Crew members should avoid talking on set as the camera could pick up unrelated conversations.

When handling equipment crew members should be extra careful as they risk damaging the equipment or themselves. They should also take extra caution when carrying the equipment on the stairs or in busy streets.

Spilt liquids pose a hazard when filming as the area can become slippery meaning actors and the film crew could injure themselves. Liquids also pose a threat to the filming equipment as the liquid could seriously damage the equipment. In order to avoid this crew members should avoid having liquids on set.

Loose wires are a filming hazard as they can cause injure to people who slip on them. This can be vey costly especially if the person is handling equipment. In order to prevent this, wires should be organised and placed away from the filming area.

Stairs can pose a risk when filming as people on set could injure themselves or the equipment. In order to avoid this crew members should take extra care when using the stais

For the production some scenes may need to be filmed during the nighttime however this can pose a risk as crew members may film near busy roads. In order to avoid this crew members should ensure that they are highly visible to drivers.

Having a low battery can be an inconvenience while on set as the battery could die while a scene is being filmed. To prevent this crew members should make sure the batteries of electrical equipment are fully charged.
By doing a risk assessment before filming it helps the crew become aware of the potential risks they could face while filming. It also helps keep filming efficent so time is not lost dealing with potential problems.
