Sound Production

We decided to use this non- diegetic soundtrack at the end of our production as it fits the emotion and mood of our short film. The beat and the pace of the music adds emotion and allows the audience to concentrate on the characters and empathise with the character. The soundtrack was appropriate as we wanted the emotion to be continued till the end of the film and it met our expectations of how we wanted to leave the audience after watching the film.

This digetic soundtrack was firstly inspired by a track we came across and tried to create on garage band. This soundtrack added emotion to the piano scene as there are different versions of the piano sound but stll convey the emotion in the scene which is why we incorporated this sound.

Website sound.

We chose this sound for the website, as it sets the mood for the website and makes our website unique because not many websites have a soundtrack. We wanted a mood to be set on the website and through this soundtrack it really gives a perspective of what the film is about and the atmosphere because the music is dramatic and calm, it shows a connection with the website and our production.

Sound is a very important element and is used to convey emotions and feelins and we chose these partciular soundtracks because they went well with our short film and gave the audience an idea of our genre.
