Budget

Our budget was £20- £25, there was flexibility with the budget we decided that the maximum was £30. It was essential to have a small budget as it was a small production. With the budget our aim was to cover travel costs, props, actor’s lunch and phone credit.

Travel costs- Travelling to the location of filming we had to ensure that we had enough money on our oyster cards and that our actor Daniel had enough on his oyster card. We put £1 on our oyster cards which we knew would be enough to cover the cost of travelling to the location of filming and getting us home from the location.

Props- We purchased the wine that was £5. We also had to have wedding rings to show that they were married; we purchased the rings, which were £1.00 each.

We purchased a jumper for our actress because we wanted her too look in character and meet the image we had for her which was £9. We chose the colour of the jumper to be a cream colour to represent her character and for the colour to denote her mood.

We didn’t purchase our actor Daniel’s top however we told him what colour to wear we wanted him to wear dark clothing to denote his mood, but also for the audience to see the difference in the characters mood. We wanted it to be represented through the mise en scene of their costume.

We purchased lipstick for our actress, as she didn’t have the shade that we wanted her to wear. The lipstick was £2.

We also had to discuss if everyone had phone credit as there was a lot of communication between the 4 of us about the production and everyone had phone minutes so this was not a problem and didn’t interfere with our budget.

During filming we had to take pictures during filming. Kysan had a camera however she didn’t have a camera sd card. This costed £2.50.

We were filming in the afternoon, we had to make sure that our actors had eaten so that they were comfortable during filming. This was essential for us that our actors had lunch, this came to £4.

We kept within our budget of £26.00.

It was important for us to plan our budget as we didn't want to spend alot and creating a our maximum budget helped us to plan what we needed for our production.
